This alternate version of The Gunslinger features him with only one gun by his side - in a ready to duel pose (the standard release has two guns). The world of Stephen King's The Dark Tower will be expending from the printed page to the big screen in August. This is intended as the first film in a franchise which will cover both film and television. The movie stars Idris Elba as The Gunslinger on a quest to protect the Dark Tower - a mythical structure which supports all realities - and Matthew McConaughey as his nemesis, The Man In Black.
